Hybrid Cloud Campaign // Adobe CC Enterprise Motion Project
Interaction Design to Explain Hybrid Cloud
Softcat are one of the largest resellers and specialists for IT in the country. They wanted a way to describe how their Hybrid Cloud infrastructure service works and how it can benefit organisations in the public and private domain as it can be tailored to their need. I began designing a interactive way of demonstrating this on their main website. The design needed to simplify the complex information structure handed to me in the brief, while also being flexible enough to work for all devices.

Working with a development team, I needed to prove how I envisaged the design to function, especially when it comes to responsive functionality. I created simple animations to demonstrate the basics in interaction and how the information is to presents itself.
This animation was to demonstrate how the icons should move slightly with the mouse to indicate they are clickable through the use of parallax.

Once the work was approved by the development team, I designed the final look and feel of the page. Overall the definition between the two different cloud services is evident based on the contrasting colours and visual guides that stayed consistent when resizing.
Adobe CC Enterprise Benefits Motion Project
Softcat required a simple video to send out their large potential buyers to demonstrate the benefits of using Adobe CC Enterprise to streamline creativity for large business. They approached me asking to combine the Softcat style into a “illustrated and animated” two min video. I produced my proposed storyboard first before getting sign-off on building this project in After Effects. Overall they loved the simplicity of the video and how the flow between shots worked. They were happy to forward this to their sales teams as part of their training.
